Food: South Africa: melktert

On 27 February, South Africans celebrate National Milk Tart Day;  Melktert in Afrikaans. Like flan, marmite, goat cheese, biltong, or say, fermented fish heads, you either love it or hate it. It's said to have originated from the Dutch in the 1600's.
