Arnon Grunberg, Dutch writer, publisher, and dry cleaning aficionado is
starting an experiment tomorrow: his
brain activity will be measured while he starts writing a new novel. While writing under
pressure, what does that brain look like? What part of the brain is activated by seeing the old coffee cups and crumpled post-it notes strewn on the desk? where exactly lies the centre of focus in the brain and how is it affected when the cat jumps again onto the keyboard? We will be watching.
